
Africa is the continent targeted this year by the solidarity of the foundation SIVA4KIDS this time through an act of generosity in Ivory Coast via the local youth community CISV Côte d‘Ivoire. It is with great pleasure the board of SIVA4KIDS Foundation informs that we had the opportunity to go to Togo, West-Africa, in February, and the representative, Emmanuel Olivier (MD) of SIVA4KIDS, visited a couple of schools.
The Micro-projects PENS4KIDS of S4K Foundation has become a huge success since it was launched last year 2008. Last year update on PENS4KIDS & BOOKS4KIDS through our partner NGO “U CARE” Foundation in Suriname,
The inauguration report of the vocational computer trainning centre which is known as Project PC4KIDS Kotapuli is now available. A few weeks after the succesful Pilot Project PC4KIDS was started we can finally update you all who stood behind this very inspiring adventure of helping children in need.
We are very happy to inform the latest news¬†regarding the Project Upgrade of Library and Computer room of Vishnu Maha Vidyalayam (School), Kalmunai, in Sri Lanka. These Projects which were¬†launched¬†by S4K¬†last year right after the building of Vishnu School was completed. WATER4KIDS project launched in the past months by SIVA4KIDS has brought motivation and led to very good results: almost one year after the first incident, the water pumps have been repaired and the water could reach again the small village of Lowoe in the region of Lome, Togo. Continue Reading

Project Suriname BOOK4KIDS 2009 has been succesfully launced by sending second hand Dutch school books to Suriname, where our partner foundation U-CARE of Wanica, Paramaribo, will collaborate for further distribution of these books to basic schools in Suriname. Continue Reading
