Postcard action “Help Pakistan, India and Afghanistan” started on the 3rd of November in the Fujitsu Building in Maarssen, Utrecht, The Netherlands. The postcard action was warmly welcomed by the management as the employees of Fujitsu Services in The Netherlands. Together with the help of Andre Tan, Nora Slimani, Toseef Saleem and Uthaykumar Sivanathan the fundraising to help the people of South East Asia went on for 2 days in a row. The national fundraising association Giro 800800 will receive the whole amount of money as soon as the fundraising is completed at Fujitsu Services¬† building.  Fund raising activity “ Help South East Asia” of Siva for Kids Foundation at ICT specialist Fujistu Services in Maarssen, Utrecht, was a big success for the volunteers and S4K.¬†The employees of Fujitsu building supported this action by donating¬†small donations and also buying¬†the official postcards of¬†S4K to help the most vulnerable victims of the Quake in South East Asia, which took more then 80.000 lives and made more then 3.000.000 people homeless. The volunteers managed to fund raise 500 euro during this action which they managed to complete during their working hours.
The volunteers were from different department of the Fujitsu building who participated on this action to make it successful. Volunteers who are being appreciated for their contribution for this good cause are Andre Tan, Nora Slimani and Joseef Saleem. You can view the gallery of the action in Utrecht by clicking here.
It was a great news for the volunteers and for the board of S4K when the management of Fujitsu Services decided to double the fund raise of 500 euro to 1000 euro, which will be transferred on the account of Siva for Kids Foundation during this week.
Siva for Kids Foundation is fund raising at this moment in Den Haag and in Rotterdam to help the children in South East Asia and as soon the actions are completed the whole amount will be transferred to Giro 800800.
Siva for Kids Foundation appreciate the contribution of volunteers, supporters and last but not least the management of Fujitsu Services who made this action very unique by doubling this action.

On the 20 th of May the employees of IT-specialist Fujistu Services raised an amount of 10.000 euro for 3 charities which were Siva for Kids Foundation of The Hague, Stifano Foundation of The Hague and Brand-Wonden Foundation of Beverwijk The program of the MMD were different activities from Rodeo riding, Flute concert, Online-auction, Soccer pc games and Mad May day Lottery was hold with very enthusiastic employees of Fujistu Services.
End of the day happy hour music band entertained the rest of the day, where the winner of lottery been drawed and the total amount of fundraise of 10.000 euro was announced, which was also the record fundraise sum of the 7th editions of all time..
Mad May Day Event is a yearly fundraising day which takes place in May at Fujitsu Services BV. On this day the employees will raise money in different ways for 3 charities. On the 7 th edition of MMD of Fujitsu Services The Netherlands S4K got the opporturnity to promote and to fundraise.
For S4K is this one of the biggest achievement itself to get the needed support by Fujitsu as the corporate support since we are a very young NGO which is working towards developing a better future for kids of Sri Lanka by building permanent houses, library and pre-schools.
S4K is appriciating this regonization and the support of Fujitsu Services, the Netherlands. We are very proud and happy to earn the motivation and support from one of the biggest IT-specialist of the world.

On the 20 th of May at Fujitsu Services’s Mad May Day Event 2005 S4K launched the official postcards of 2005 with huge success. The postcards, which are fundraising material of S4K is a collection of 2 packages of 3 postcards, where a lot of postcards already have been sold at the first official launch day.
The postcards motives are photographed by CEO U. K. Sivanathan and Photographer of S4K, Yaxkin Mohr, when they were on their mission of “search and approch” solid project to help and make positive changes of the children of war and tsunami effected children in Sri Lanka.
The goal of the postcards is one of the ways to fundraise for the projects of Siva for Kids Foundation in year 2005/2006, which are: 1) Rebuilding of Vishnu School in Kalmunai at the district of Ampara in Sri Lanka (Completed). 2) Facilitating the computer room and library of Vishnu School in Kalmunai (Active) 3) Building of Siva for Kids Library+playground in Point Pedro, Sri Lanka (the previous children and adult library was destroyed by the tsunami tidal)(Project in preparation) 4) Siva for Kids Pre-school in Point Pedro district in Sri Lanka.
