Due to the international day of children rights on the 20th of November 2005 the youth committee of Rotterdam (Jongerenraad Rotterdam) organized a children-rights festival at NightTown in Rotterdam. Goal of the festival is to celebrate the UN convention on children rights of 1923 and provide focus on this theme and subjects to the children together with participants of national and international organizations who were working for the welfare of children in third world countries.
The Childrensrights festival contained a lot of workshops with interactive methods of providing information’s about the childrensrights to the children of The Netherlands.
For a young and motivated NGO like S4K was this a great experience and opportunity to be there and provide information’s about the goals and projects of Siva for Kids Foundation together with the other international children organizations.
Activities of Siva for Kids Foundation at Childrensrights Festival 2005:
Childrensrights Color painting contest:
The winner of the color painting contest is Symora, 11 years, of Rotterdam.

The winner of the postcard contest are Anouk de Jager and Denne.
Write an article about childrenrights:

The childrenrights festival in 2005 was a great experience and an opportunity to provide information’s to the children of tomorrow in Rotterdam and also an ideal meeting place to network (exchange) with organizations of wide experiences on the field of children in third world countries.
